• 1 salmon fillet (skin-on or off, about 150–200g)
• 1 tbsp unsalted butter
• 1 garlic clove (minced)
• Juice of 1/2 lemon + 2 slices for garnish
• Salt & black pepper
• Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
• Fresh herbs: dill or parsley (optional)

1. Prep the salmon:
Pat dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Sear it:
In a pan over medium heat, melt half the butter. Add salmon skin-side down (if any). Sear for 4–5 mins until crispy.
3. Flip + flavor:
Flip the salmon. Add the rest of the butter, garlic, lemon juice, and chili flakes if using. Cook 2–3 mins.
